Blog Introduction

Today marks the official launch of my blog posts! My goal is to regularly update this with translation updates (whether official or personal project) to keep the projects page from becoming very clustered.

Originally from the UK, I moved to Japan as an English teacher in 2018. I have been studying Japanese since 2014 and my love for the language grows every day. I love that I have been able to immerse myself in a completely new culture, meet new people and explore many different mindsets. Learning another language is like having another “self”!

Currently I am still working as an ALT (Assistant Language Teacher) in Japan so I have been using my free time to set up this website and also start translating. My goal is by 2022 I will be able to translate professionally and turn my love for this language into my living! The entries may be a little sporadic as I am trying to juggle a full-time job, studying for the JLPT, finishing/updating the website and also translating so please bear with me.
